repo and actions:read permissions for the repositories you want to monitor.MenuOps needs a Personal Access Token with repo scope and actions:read permission. This allows it to read workflow run status. MenuOps never reads your code, writes to repositories, or accesses anything beyond workflow and pull request metadata.
Free users get updates every 60 seconds via polling. Premium subscribers get real-time push notifications (typically under 5 seconds) with a 5-minute polling fallback for reliability.
Yes. When adding an account, enter your GitHub Enterprise Server URL instead of the default github.com.
Subscriptions are managed through the Mac App Store. Go to App Store > your account > Subscriptions to change or cancel your plan. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Check that notifications are enabled for MenuOps in System Settings > Notifications. If you're a premium subscriber, also ensure push notifications are allowed. MenuOps sends notifications when a workflow changes state (e.g., from running to completed).
MenuOps is designed to be lightweight. Free users poll once per minute, which has minimal battery impact. Premium subscribers use push notifications, which are even more efficient since the app only wakes when there's an actual status change.
Premium subscribers can add multiple GitHub accounts with different tokens. Free users can monitor repositories from a single account.
Quit MenuOps, then drag it to the Trash. All local data (configuration, cached status) is removed with the app. Your GitHub token is stored in the macOS Keychain — you can remove it manually via Keychain Access if desired.
